Mediclaim FAQ - Rebilling a Claim

Rebill
1.When a claim has been refused, the claim will show up on the refusals document that is sent from MediClaim.
2.Find out the data that you need to correctly submit the claim.
3.On the MediClaim site, after signing in, go to the Advanced page.
4.Click the rebill checkbox and fill in the sequence number of the claim you need to rebill. You obtain this number from the refusals form. Press the TAB key. Your claim data will appear.
5.The old claim details will be loaded on the form and will now be available for correction.
6.Correct the data in either the bill ( or the profile if appropriate).
7.Click Submit Bill button.

You must not forget to uncheck the rebill checkbox when you have finished processing your rebills.
Otherwise, all your subsequent claims billed during the session will be sent in as rebills. Since they cannot be matched to previous bills in the database, the claims will be lost and will not show up on your daysheet.
