Mediclaim FAQ - Labels
 
MediClaim members are now able to print labels for their patients charts,providing they are using a computer. MacIntosh Users will also be able to print labels, with a somewhat diminished capability. Internet label printing is somewhat inflexible because the server does not know what label software or label sizes, the user has configured on their own computer.

 

Because of the complexity involved in printing data from a web-based application, we have had to standardize around a specific type of printer and a specific brand and size of label.The Dymo LabelWriters are inexpensive and are designed exclusively for this type of application. It must be model 330 or better, loaded with the Dymo label number 30251. The 30251 label is 1,1/8 inches by 4 inches, and again, is the only size we can support. Dymo LabelWriters can be purchased locally at Staples and other electronics retailers, or over the web. Prices start as low as $160 from www.TigerDirect.ca
